Maximizing Potentials

Yesterday our friends from Prestasi Junior Indonesia (PJI), a non-profit organization that focuses on entrepreneurial trainings for students, arrived early in our office to take part in the next round of Capacity Building Training. This session is part of Maverick’s Corporate Social Leadership (CSL) program.

Our friends Anita, Olen, and Patricia from PJI have already been given an assignment to develop a communications plan in the previous session, and yesterday they were asked to present it to us for evaluation.

The presentation turned into an interesting discussion, as we were able to identify some of the main challenges faced by PJI today.

We talked about how PJI could improve their overall communications strategy, and it resulted in some preliminary actions that could be considered by PJI to maximize its role in society.

The Mavericks also learned a lot from PJI and were much inspired by them. Our friends in PJI believe that they can make a difference in the society, by training students to develop their entrepreneurial skills, personal finance skills and finance literacy so that they would succeed in a global economy.

A really tough job not many are willing to take. And Maverick is more than eager to inject a healthy dose of professionalism and strategic thinking to our friends.
