Another business daily

A new business daily was launched on May 26, 2008 under the name Indonesia Business Today.

From my point of view, as a reader and a media tracker, Indonesia Business Daily is laid-out quite well, with tidy and regulated columns making it easy for us to monitor clients’ news. It also provides sufficient information with the obvious current business and economy news and also hot issues on sports, auto style, features, and even celebrity gossips. However, I feel they could design the daily’s front page better since it resembles the front page of an already more established business daily.

From the amount of advertisements bought by many top companies, this new daily seems to have attracted adequate support form the business sector, assuming, of course, that the advertisements are all paid up ones.

From the information I received from an insider, this daily is only distributed around the Jabodetabek area for now and will eventually be distributed nationally. The insider also claimed that this daily, led by Naniek S. Deyang as Editor-in-Chief, has a circulation of 70,000 in the short time since the launching.
